Sharing Insights of the Lean Startup Process

business planning with core competencies

Core competencies as a management framework

The topic of my current post would be core competencies. I wanted to document my insights on the career readiness model, but I wanted to input a start-up perspective with a human resource framework. Core competencies were designed through the career readiness model, which is a management framework. Core competencies would be critical thinking, teamwork/collaboration, and leadership. Core competencies encompass a career readiness model for entrepreneurial managers to utilize. Core competencies are valuable competencies personnel should possess, which cover competencies in the area of soft skills, attitudes, and knowledge, as well as other characteristics.  Knowledge competencies would consist of task-based/functional competencies, such as computational thinking. Another competency would be soft skills, which are decision making and social intelligence. Another competency would be attitude, which consists of self-motivation and showing commitment. Other characteristics (competencies) would be resilience and self-awareness. Core competencies as a career readiness model would be useful for entrepreneurial managers to gauge effectiveness of, as well as aptitude of personnel within a control environment.  The career readiness model would be framed as the psychology of the work environment. A team has to work towards those goals, which would be set. Through coaches and leadership, entrepreneurial managers have to physically build its mission towards its goals. Also, entrepreneurial managers have to build its workforce habits towards a competent level of performance and productivity, through coaching and activities for personnel to solve problems. The customer development teams work habits, its practices, and its social behavior have to be operating towards a health state of existence. The psychological behavior of personnel would also have to be operating towards a healthy state. Core competencies would be the psychological characteristics of the customer development team.
